You may need to mute your microphone during a call for various reasons - reduce background noise, mitigate echoing or feedback, or to ensure you don't cause any unnecessary interruptions. You can easily toggle between muting and unmuting your microphone using the controls at the bottom of the call.
Mute your audio
- Click the icon to mute your microphone - the icon changes to red and no one on the call will be able to hear you until you unmute.
- Click the icon to unmute your microphone - the icon changes back to the active state and everyone in the call can hear you.
