Stay up to date on your squad's activity with notifications. SquadPod's notifications make sure you are informed of activity that affects you without interrupting your day. View new updates from all of your conversations in one place so you can respond with one click, or come back to it later.
Activity in SquadPod
A history of your notifications can be found in the activity log that is accessible from the bell icon in the navigation bar. Unread activity has a blue indicator. A notification is marked read by viewing the related content, or by explicitly marking it as read in the activity log. Push notifications will appear from your browser once you enable it in the browser settings.
Badges alert you of new activity in your squad and appear throughout the app. Badges are removed when the related notifications are marked as read.
How push notifications work
You'll receive browser push notifications while you are using your computer. When you are on the go, you can install the SquadPod app on an Apple or Android device to receive device push notifications so you don't miss an important message or call. By default, here's when you will receive browser or device push notifications:
- Someone sends you a message in a direct chat
- You are mentioned in a discussion or chat message
- A discussion member comments on your post or replies to your comment
- A reaction is added to your message
- You are invited to a video call
- You are assigned a task, removed from a task, or the status is changed to Completed
Customize your push notifications
The default setting can be changed at any time to suit your need. The following options are available:
Silent: All push notifications will be turned off for the Squad.
Quiet: You will receive push notifications for direct chat messages, mentions, and video calls.
Moderate: You will receive push notifications for direct chat messages, comments, replies, mentions, reactions and video calls.
Noisy: You will receive push notifications for every item that comes into your activity feed for this Squad.
Do Not Disturb
Use the Do Not Disturb feature to turn off push notifications on your Android device. Enabling Do Not Disturb on your device will disable all push notifications from the app, not just the squad you enable it from.
