Enable push notifications in your browser

Through SquadPod's push notifications, you can stay informed of activity that affects you without actively viewing the app.  You will be prompted to Allow push notifications when you first login and visit the site.  You can choose to Allow, Deny or Ignore at that time.  This setting can be changed at any time via the browser's site settings.  

If you have allowed SquadPod push notifications but you are not receiving any of the notifications on your device then you can check your browser permissions to ensure the SquadPod website has the correct site permissions.

To check your site settings, follow these browser-specific steps:

Chrome or Edge

1. Click the lock icon on the left side of the URL bar in your browser.
2. Select Allow from the Notifications drop-down list.
3. Reload the SquadPod website.

Firefox

1. At the top right corner of your browser, click the hamburger menu.
2. On Mac, select Preferences. On Windows, select Options.
3. Go to the Privacy and Security section.
4. Click Settings.
5. Click Allow next to the website.
6. Click Save Changes.
7. Reload the SquadPod website.

Safari

1. Go to Safari in the top menu.
2. Select Preferences.
3. Go to Websites and then Notifications.
4. Click Allow next to the website.
5. Reload the SquadPod website.

Troubleshooting tips:

• If you are still not receiving push notifications after following the steps below, you can restart your browser and try again.
• If you are browsing in Incognito mode, you will not receive push notifications.

Want to turn off your SquadPod push notifications?

You can use the Push Notification Levels to determine which browser push notifications you would like to receive in each squad.  If you wish to stop all push notifications from the app you can turn off your SquadPod push notifications by following the same steps as above and selecting Block instead of Allow.
