Reply to chat messages

Who can reply to chat messages?

Non-viewers can reply to a message in a chat room.

Reply in-line

Chat rooms allow for free-flowing conversations that often change topic frequently.  You can reply to a previous message to respond to missed topics.  Everyone in the conversation can preview the original message and have context for your message.  Follow the steps below to reply to a chat message.

1. Hover over the message you want to reply to.
2. Click the 'More' icon.
3. Select Reply.
4. When you are finished adding your message, click Send.

The author of the original message will be notified that you replied directly to their message.  To view all of the replies for a message, click the reply count under the message.
