Link to an external site

A squad admin has the ability to add a button that takes the squad member to the URL provided.  The button settings can be managed on web.  It will appear for all squad members on all devices. 

Add a link to an external site

1. Click the squad avatar at the top of the navigation bar 
2. Click Manage
3. Select Advanced Settings from the list
4. Click the next to Add a button that links to an external site
5. Enter the text that will appear on the button in the button label field
6. Enter the URL that opens when the button is clicked
7. Enter text in the description field if you would like to provide information above the button
8. When you have finished editing the button settings, click Save

The button will appear immediately at the bottom of the squad menu for all squad members.  The button will appear in the slide out menu on an Android or Apple device. 

Change the button settings

You can change the button label, URL, and description at any time from the Advanced Settings modal.

1. Click the squad avatar at the top of the navigation bar 
2. Click Manage
3. Select Advanced Settings from the list
4. Make any changes to the button label, URL, or description fields and Save your changes

 

Disable the button settings

If you would like to disable the button completely, follow the steps below.

1. Click the squad avatar at the top of the navigation bar
2. Click Manage
3. Select Advanced Settings from the list
4. Click the  
5. Click Save
