Set default discussion rooms for new squad members

Who can set a discussion as default?

Squad Admins can set a discussion as default if they are a member of the discussion.  

Benefits 

New squad members are automatically added to default rooms upon joining the squad.  Default discussions can be used to assist with onboarding and ensure new members have immediate access to important information.  

Note: Guest users are not added to default discussion rooms.

 

Set a discussion as default

1. Open the menu
2. Click Settings and details
3. Inline with Default, click the   toggle button to set the room as default 

Note: Any existing squad members will be automatically added to the room except for Guests.
