Note: You will not be able to delete your account if you are the sole squad admin, sole billing admin, or sole member of any squad in your account. To change the squad role that is blocking you from being able to delete your account, take either of the following steps:
- Delete the squad. You can do this through the SquadPod web app. Make sure the squad is on the free plan and any previous billing subscriptions have been canceled or else the squad cannot be deleted.
- Make another squad member the squad admin and/or billing admin.
Delete your account
To delete your SquadPod account, follow the device-specific steps for Web, iPhone/iPad, or Android below:
Pro Tip: We recommend using the SquadPod web app to delete your account.
Web Browser
- Click the squad's avatar at the top of the navigation bar. If you are a not a member of any squad skip to the next step
- Click the button and select Manage Account
- Select Delete Account and click Yes, please delete my account in the popup confirmation
- Select a reason for leaving the app and click Delete
Note: if your account is not deleted successfully refer to the beginning of this article for additional help.
iPhone/iPad/Mac
- If you are in a squad, tap the hamburger menu and then tap the button. If you are not a member of any squads, tap the gear icon in the top left corner of the screen.
- Select App Settings
- Tap Delete Account and press Delete on the popup confirmation
- Select a reason for leaving the app and press Delete
Android
- If you are in a squad, tap the hamburger menu and then tap Help. If you are not a member of any squads, jump to the next step.
- Select the Account Management option.
- Tap Delete Account and then press Continue on the popup.
- Select a reason for leaving the app and press Continue
Important: If your account was created using your Apple ID, you can remove SquadPod from your Apple ID account by following these steps:
From a web browser:
- Go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and log in using your Apple ID
- Scroll down to the Security section and click Manage Apps and Website
- Select SquadPod
- Click Stop Using Apple ID twice
Or from your Apple device logged into iCloud with your Apple ID:
- Navigate to your device’s Settings application.
- Select Apple ID (tap the tile with your name and avatar).
- Tap Password & Security
- Tap Apps Using Apple ID
- Select SquadPod.
- Tap Stop Using Apple ID
- Press Stop Using on the popup.
